Info about...

  • Coaching for technical and managerial staff

Human resource development for technical and managerial staff

Technical and managerial staff are met with high demands: they are expected to be technically outstanding, performance oriented and at the same time competent with people. How do I want to lead? How do I deal with difficulties? How do I conduct employee meetings or performance appraisals? How can I use my potential profitably?

As trainers, we help your employees improve their leadership and decision-making skills. We develop their ability to communicate constructively while maintaining good relationships and to pursue their own ambitions.

    1. Test procedure

In preparation for the first coaching session, your managerial staff complete some of our diagnostic psychological tests. This takes place in our offices and is done within two to four hours.

    2. Interview

At the first appointment, we conduct a structured interview with the employee to identify how they see their role. Challenges and conflicts that come to light give insight into the specific needs that should be addressed in the individual coaching session. For the first meeting we recommend a window of about 3 hours.

    3. Dossier

The results are presented to the employee during this first appointment. They are also given these results in written form, summarized in one dossier. On the basis of these results, we work with the technical or managerial staff member on an individualized development plan. At the fore is the issue or concern that you, as the employer, have formulated.

    4. Follow-up appointments

Each follow-up appointment can – depending on the concern and request – take between one hour and half a day. In these follow-up appointments we take the original plan and systematically put each measure into action; we reflect on and consolidate what has been learned. In this way, new patterns of behavior and communication become anchored and sustainable and are easier to recall in future.

  • Employee evaluation

    Valuing employee potential

Whether you’re in a phase of growth or transition, when giving feedback or during performance appraisals – you need to know your employees to be able to lead them and bring out their best. We help you understand their individual potential and to make the right decisions.

With the help of diagnostic staff psychology and aptitude tests, we make evidence-based statements on their relevant characteristics. This provides you with an optimal foundation for staff development measures.

    Initial consultation

In a detailed initial consultation we identify your employee’s current situation and where you want it to be. From there, we come up with exactly what you want us to do.

On the day of the consultation we focus on an extensive analysis of your employee’s potential. This is supplemented by detailed, structured interviews that we conduct with you as the employer, the employee and if necessary their supervisor.

We put together a personality profile for your employee and present our findings to you and your employee. The emphasis here is on the employee’s individual capacity to develop in their role.

    4. Evaluation

We evaluate your employee’s results with you and if needed, their supervisor. At the end of the consultation, you are given a complete analysis of the employee’s developmental possibilities with specific action points.

  • Team building

    Accompanying teams individually and collectively

Everyone knows the old joke: What does teamwork mean? That someone else will do it! What may cause some to smile, may pose a huge challenge to others. What do you do when teams don’t work? When there’s an issue with people? When you aren’t getting results?

Good teamwork is not a co-incidence, it’s a matter of development – on a personal, collective and performance level. We help teams recognize their structure, communication and behavioral patterns in a non-judgmental way. This is the first step toward achieving common goals. Subsequently, we work on new, more constructive behaviors together.

    1. Our task

In preparation for a one or two day workshop, we examine your team’s current situation and where you want it to be. We familiarize ourselves with your company and mission, have the challenges explained to us and ask questions about the corporate culture. By the end, we have a clear idea about our job and your expectations.

    Icon: Clipboard with checklist

    2. Test procedures

To be able to analyze the communication and behavioral habits of the team and have them understood by each of the members, each person must go through an individually tailored staff psychology test procedure before the workshop.

    3. Workshop

In the workshop we clarify the team’s task, goals and vision. We then begin the coaching process by exploring “typical” communication and behavioral patterns and explain them from a personality-typological viewpoint. Understanding leads to self-reflection and a new way of seeing the whole situation. Conflicts are often specified and then resolved with support from the whole team. Individual measures and exercises are also created based on the issue and its context.

    4. Follow-up appointments

To implement the results in a sustainable way and to consolidate what has been learned, shorter follow-up appointments are recommended. On request, we can also provide on-going support through regular team-supervising meetings.
